Friday night, I went out to dinner and to my first rugby league game in Wollongong!! We saw the Illawara Dragons play the North Queensland Cowboys. Kay and I went with our other two friends from our IFSA-Butler orientation group, Alex and James. We went to the beach all afternoon then headed back to our dorm to shower and get ready for the night. Then, we walked to meet Michelle, our orientation leader and at at Mama's Pizzeria. Then we walked to the stadium and watched the rugby match! It was really fun and super intense! They play two forty minute halves and they absolutely kill each other! I couldn't believe how tough all the players were! The Dragons are ranked 2nd in their league right now and there were over 13,000 people in the stadium! We had a great time and it was really nice to get a chance to spend time with friends from orientation!
